At this years ARC Malton Open Day you will see a small pop up exhibition from the towns museum, located in the carparking area at John & Sean Quinns Yard, Highfield.
The exhibition on the day will showcase some of the history of Malton with racing memorabilia.
If you cannot wait until the Open Day Malton Museum’s volunteers will be running a special guided tour focusing on Malton’s horse heritage, and sharing how Malton’s story as a centre of horse racing began.
The tour is on Saturday 7th September at 11am, starting at Malton Museum on Yorkersgate.
